Is this a hotel?+
No, Kami Unawatuna is a private villa. The entire property is provided exclusively for your stay, without any in-house staff or caretaker.
Do you provide a cook or chef?+
We do not have an in-house chef. However, if required, we can connect you with a freelance chef, subject to availability.
Can we use the kitchen?+
Yes, guests have full access to the kitchen.
Is early check-in or late check-out available?+
We always aim to accommodate such requests; however, this depends on availability. If possible, we will be happy to arrange it.
How is cleaning handled during the stay?+
The villa is provided fully cleaned before your arrival and will be cleaned again after check-out. During your stay, cleaning is self-managed. For bookings longer than 3 nights, additional arrangements may be discussed.
Are driver accommodation facilities available?+
No, we do not have driver accommodation. Drivers usually arrange their own lodging nearby.
Is the villa accessible by bus?+
While buses have accessed the property before, the road conditions can make it challenging, and some drivers may be hesitant. Other vehicles can reach the villa without any issues.
Will there be staff on-site during our stay?+
No, we prioritize your privacy. The villa is entirely yours during your stay, with no interruptions from staff.
What if we need assistance?+
We are always just a phone call away and will provide support as needed. Physical assistance can also be arranged depending on availability.
How far are the beaches?+
Several beautiful beaches are within a 10โ15 minute drive from the villa, including Unawatuna Beach, Jungle Beach, and Dalawella Beach.
